About Our Founder
Bertus Cilliers is the founder and CEO of bloomROCK Partners since 2020, where he uses his business and financial expertise to work with his clients to help improve their profit, cashflow and company value. In his role, he focuses on small to medium companies, as well as non-profits, for which he has a strong passion.
Prior to starting bloomROCK Partners, Bertus has been in the financial industry for 25 years and was the Chief Financial Officer for T-Systems North America for 11 years, responsible for the Finance, Legal and Procurement functions and was responsible for the successful financial turnaround of the company. He has worked in various financial positions within the Organization in the United States, United Kingdom and South Africa.
Bertus, originally from South Africa, has earned his MBA and his B Com Accounting degree from University of Johannesburg and South Africa. He is a proud member of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, ASBA and is long-term resident of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Bertus has a passion for non-profit organizations and small businesses, which is the backbone of our economy. Bertus serves as a mentor for the non-profit organization SCORE, where he assist small companies and non-profit organizations with startup and financial advice.
